The main product of the project is going to be a “matching skills” tool which is going to be used by universities and enterprises in order to match the skills that the universities offer with the skills required by the enterprises.

CAREER-EUshop: One-Stop-Service-Career-Guidance-Shop for Europe

EU funded project, coordinated by the University of Cyprus, whose objective is o provide EU counselors with a common framework of best career counseling services, methods and practices in public and private institutions and authorities and develop a training programme for career counselors. The project has developed also an electronic guide of best practices of career counseling. The project’s outcomes are available through the project’s website.


ININTER - Improving the placements and internships from academia and enterprises

ININTER is a European project, which aims to develop and apply a medium- long term quality strategy aiming at identifying needs, raising awareness, and introducing and developing actions, models, measures, tools and good practices regarding the internships and placements of students of all levels in industry and enterprises. The partnership aims in developing a methodology and tools for measuring the quality in such activities.

Cross Border Virtual Incubator

Cross Border Virtual Incubator (CBVI) is a European project that flexibly reaches out to workers and learners to promote entrepreneurship and enterprise creation. It has the objective to demonstrate experiments with social and learner-centric entrepreneurship environments for the acceleration of new starters and cross border knowledge exchange. CBVI will effectuate far reaching pilots on (networked) business planning and successive field-oriented coaching of new entrepreneurs by universities, multipliers and SMEs.

The EU-GRAD project is an EU funded project which aims to strengthen cooperation between Higher Education Institutions and enterprises in order to achieve total mobility of EU postgraduates: Any postgraduate student in any country and in any company. More specifically, this project aims to assess the barriers to total mobility of postgraduate students wishing to undergo training programmes; elaborate guidelines and procedures to facilitate the total mobility of postgraduates students across the EU under the principle any student in any country in any company; design a Postgraduate Training and Work Programme to facilitate internship placement of graduates across the EU; ongoing evaluation and transfer to other EU countries.

Enterprise - University Virtual Placements (EU-VIP)

The EU-VIP project looks into the possibilities Virtual Mobility can offer in the area of international work placements. The main target of the EU-VIP project is to increase the number of students that undertake an international work placement and to enhance the quality of these work and learning experiences. Concretely the project will result in guidelines and online training material on how to organize virtual and virtually supported (or ‘blended’) international work placements.
