University of Malta has 11 faculties and a number of interdisciplinary centres and institutes, including The Edward de Bono Institute for the Design and Development of Thinking. Among the priority areas are the establishment, mainting and sustaining of stronger links and developing a shared vision with industry, organisations and governmental agencies in a concerted effort to produce highly trained graduates with interdisciplinary skills and competencies. UOM is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the Utrecht Network, the International Student Exchange Programme, the European Access Network, the European University Association, the European Association for International Education as well as the Santander Network and the Compostela Group. The academic staff and students of the University of Malta have actively participated in a number of EU projects. The University of Malta has to date been successful in past years with a number of projects under ERASMUS curriculum development. Its track record is impressive as it has been successful with projects under ERASMUS / Socrates, Grundtvig, Comenius, FP5, FP6, Marie Curie and Leonardo Da Vinci.
