The first transnational meeting of the project UETPNET - University Enterprise Training Partnership Networking for upgrading skills using online tools is going to take place in Athens in the 13th and 14th of January 2011.

WP4: Piloting PDF Print E-mail

Aim: The aim of this WP is to test the web tools developed in WP3, to determine the short term impact of each of the results of the project during the development of the project, with the aim of taking necessary corrective action and to obtain feedback from the target group.

Methodology: The methodology of the WP is the following: At the beginning, a guidelines document will be drafted for the piloting and the initial training workshops. Before the actual piloting a workshop is going to be organized in each country where the stakeholders that will participate in the piloting will be trained in the way that tools are functioning. After this, the piloting sessions will begin with participants from each partners' country. Enterprises will be asked to use the matching tool in order to publicize a job position/ internship and describe precisely the skills that are needed. Then Universities will be asked to upload to the tool the list of skills of their graduates. Then university students and graduates will provide the University a list of their additional skills and the job positions they would prefer and the university will add this list in the data base of the system and will inform the students/ graduates any time that there is a job offer that matches their skills. The enterprise will also consult the list to find the perfect candidates. In case skill gaps are detected, brief seminars using the e-learning platform will be organized. The events tool will be used to publish common events. After the end of the piloting, the participants are going to be asked to compile a feedback sheet with comments about the course. These comments, together with the other data of the piloting are going to be summarized in national reports from each country. P5 will summarize these reports in a final report. On the basis of this report and after consultation with the partners and stakeholders, P1 will make corrective actions in order to correct any problems detected and improve the methodology and tools.
